Using This Book

This book assumes that you are familiar with your operating system and its commands; the concept of directories; the management of user accounts and security access; and your network protocol and its configuration.

This book contains the following information:

"Introduction" introduces some concepts that will help you use SequeLink to provide data access across your enterprise.
"Sample Scenarios" provides sample scenarios that describe how SequeLink might be used to implement data access for a data consumer application.
"Planning Your SequeLink® Configuration" provides information you need to know as you plan your SequeLink configuration.

The book also contains a glossary.
